Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing or using the IQF Learning Management System ("LMS"). By creating an account, signing in, accessing course materials, joining live classes, submitting work, or otherwise using the LMS, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the LMS.

These LMS Terms apply alongside IQF's general website, application, enrolment, programme, academic, privacy, and payment terms. If there is a conflict, the terms in your written offer, enrolment agreement, programme handbook, or awarding-body requirements may take priority where applicable.

In these Terms, "IQF", "we", "us", and "our" refer to IQF Limited. "You" and "your" refer to the learner, applicant, parent/guardian where applicable, tutor, staff member, or other authorised LMS user.

2. Purpose of the LMS

The LMS is provided to support teaching, learning, communication, course delivery, and learner engagement. Depending on your programme and enrolment status, the LMS may provide access to:

  • Assigned course pages and learning materials
  • Live class links, schedules, and class recordings
  • Tutor announcements and learning updates
  • Assignments, quizzes, activities, and submission areas
  • Course resources, reading materials, and support content
  • Learner progress information and related academic communication

The LMS is not the official platform for all IQF administrative processes. Applications, student records, transcript requests, certificate management, and related services may be handled through IQF's student application and transcript/certificate platform at https://app.iqfawards.com/ or through other official IQF communication channels.

3. Acceptance of These Terms

By using the LMS, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms
  • You are authorised to access the LMS
  • The information connected to your account is accurate and up to date
  • You will use the LMS only for lawful educational purposes
  • You will follow IQF policies, academic rules, tutor instructions, and awarding-body requirements
  • You will not misuse the LMS, course materials, live classes, recordings, or communication tools

If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of the LMS and may be required to accept relevant terms on your behalf.

4. LMS Accounts and Security

You may need an LMS account to access course materials, live classes, assessments, or other learning services. You are responsible for your account and for all activity that takes place under your login.

You agree to:

  • Keep your username, password, and login details confidential
  • Not share your account with another person
  • Not use another learner's, tutor's, or staff member's account
  • Notify IQF immediately if you suspect unauthorised access or a security issue
  • Provide accurate account information and keep it updated where possible
  • Log out after using shared or public devices

IQF may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to an LMS account where we reasonably believe there has been unauthorised use, a security risk, non-payment of required fees, academic misconduct, misuse of content, or a breach of these Terms.

5. Access to Courses and Materials

Access to LMS courses and materials is normally linked to your enrolment status, programme allocation, payment status, cohort, and academic progression.

IQF may add, update, remove, restrict, or reorganise LMS content where reasonably required for academic, operational, technical, legal, or awarding-body reasons. Programme content, schedules, tutor allocation, class format, learning activities, and resource availability may vary between cohorts and may change during delivery where necessary.

Unless IQF confirms otherwise in writing, LMS access is provided for your current programme of study only and may end after completion, withdrawal, suspension, transfer, expiry of access period, or termination of enrolment.

6. Live Classes, Recordings, and Participation

The LMS may provide access to live classes, webinars, tutorials, workshops, or other online learning sessions. You are expected to attend and participate professionally.

When joining live classes, you agree to:

  • Join using your own name or the name registered with IQF
  • Be respectful to tutors, staff, guest speakers, and other learners
  • Not disrupt sessions or interfere with another learner's participation
  • Not share meeting links, passwords, recordings, slides, chat content, or class materials with unauthorised people
  • Not record, screenshot, stream, copy, or distribute live sessions without IQF's written permission
  • Follow any tutor instructions about cameras, microphones, chat, attendance, and participation

IQF may record live sessions for teaching, quality assurance, staff training, learner support, compliance, or academic purposes. By attending a live session, you acknowledge that your name, voice, image, chat messages, questions, or contributions may be included in the recording.

Recordings are provided only for authorised educational use by eligible learners and staff. They must not be downloaded, copied, shared, edited, published, sold, or posted online unless IQF gives written permission.

7. Student Conduct

All LMS users must behave respectfully, honestly, and responsibly. You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against, or intimidate another person
  • Post offensive, unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or inappropriate content
  • Upload malware, spam, unauthorised advertising, or harmful files
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to IQF systems, accounts, data, or course areas
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the LMS
  • Misrepresent your identity, enrolment status, qualifications, or academic work
  • Use the LMS for commercial activity, political campaigning, or unrelated purposes without permission

Breaches may result in removal of content, suspension of access, disciplinary action, removal from a programme, notification to an awarding body, or other action IQF considers appropriate.

8. Academic Integrity

You must complete all academic work honestly and in accordance with IQF policies, programme rules, tutor instructions, and awarding-body requirements.

You must not:

  • Submit work that is not your own
  • Plagiarise, copy, collude, impersonate, or cheat
  • Buy, sell, share, or exchange assignments, answers, assessment materials, or completed work
  • Use artificial intelligence tools, paraphrasing tools, file-sharing sites, or third-party support in a way that is prohibited by IQF or the relevant awarding body
  • Upload another person's work, personal data, or confidential material without permission
  • Attempt to manipulate grades, attendance, progress records, completion data, or assessment systems

Academic misconduct may result in penalties, resubmission requirements, grade cancellation, programme removal, reporting to the awarding body, or other disciplinary outcomes.

9. Intellectual Property and Course Content

All LMS content, including course materials, videos, slides, handouts, assessments, quizzes, recordings, documents, graphics, logos, templates, and platform content, is owned by IQF or licensed to IQF by partners, tutors, awarding bodies, publishers, or third-party providers.

Subject to these Terms, IQF grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use assigned LMS materials for your own learning only.

You must not, without written permission:

  • Copy, reproduce, download, share, sell, publish, upload, or distribute LMS content
  • Remove copyright notices, branding, watermarks, or attribution
  • Use IQF materials to deliver teaching, training, tutoring, coaching, or commercial services
  • Share your LMS access with another person
  • Create derivative works from IQF content for public or commercial use
  • Post IQF course materials, recordings, assessments, or internal communications on social media or public websites

Any unauthorised use of LMS content may result in account suspension, disciplinary action, legal action, or notification to relevant awarding bodies or partners.

10. Learner Content and Submissions

You remain responsible for content you upload, post, submit, or share through the LMS, including assignments, comments, discussion posts, messages, files, images, audio, video, and other materials.

By submitting content through the LMS, you grant IQF permission to use, store, copy, review, assess, moderate, process, and share that content where reasonably necessary for teaching, assessment, quality assurance, academic administration, learner support, awarding-body processes, compliance, and record keeping.

You confirm that your submissions:

  • Are your own work or are properly referenced where required
  • Do not infringe another person's rights
  • Do not contain unlawful, harmful, offensive, or confidential material that you are not authorised to share
  • Do not contain viruses, malware, or harmful code

You should keep your own backup copies of important work. IQF is not responsible for work lost because of your device failure, internet issues, incorrect uploads, missed deadlines, or failure to keep a copy.

11. Assessments, Deadlines, and Results

Assessment instructions, deadlines, submission methods, grading rules, resubmission rules, and academic requirements may vary by programme, module, awarding body, and cohort.

You are responsible for:

  • Checking assessment instructions carefully
  • Submitting work in the correct format and location
  • Meeting published deadlines
  • Keeping proof of submission where available
  • Telling IQF promptly if you experience a technical issue before a deadline

Grades, completion records, certificates, transcripts, and progression decisions may be subject to verification, internal quality assurance, external moderation, awarding-body approval, or university partner rules. Any result shown in the LMS should be treated as provisional unless IQF or the relevant awarding body confirms it as final.

12. Fees, Enrolment Status, and LMS Access

LMS access may depend on your enrolment status and payment of required fees. IQF may restrict or suspend access to courses, materials, live classes, recordings, assessments, or learner services if:

  • Required fees are unpaid or overdue
  • Your enrolment is suspended, cancelled, withdrawn, deferred, or completed
  • You are moved to another cohort or programme
  • Access is no longer required for academic delivery
  • You breach these Terms or another IQF policy

Suspension of LMS access does not automatically cancel your payment obligations or change any refund terms agreed with IQF.

13. Technical Requirements and Availability

You are responsible for having suitable internet access, a compatible device, updated software, and any required applications needed to use the LMS and attend online sessions.

IQF aims to provide reliable LMS access, but we do not guarantee that the LMS will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet issues, hosting problems, third-party service failures, security incidents, or events outside IQF's reasonable control.

Where possible, IQF will try to provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance or major platform changes, but urgent maintenance may take place without notice.

14. Third-Party Tools, Links, and Services

The LMS may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, video tools, document services, payment services, libraries, partner resources, awarding-body systems, or university partner materials.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, cookies, technical requirements, and availability rules. IQF is not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, but we will take reasonable care when selecting tools used for learning delivery.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

IQF processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable.

When you use the LMS, IQF may process information such as your name, contact details, login records, attendance, course progress, assessment submissions, grades, messages, device or browser information, class participation, and support requests.

  • Maintaining platform security and preventing misuse

For more information about how IQF handles personal data, please refer to IQF's Privacy Policy or contact info@iqf.education.

16. Communications

IQF may contact you through the LMS, email, phone, messaging services, the student application platform, or other official communication channels.

You are responsible for checking LMS announcements, registered email accounts, course updates, and official messages regularly. You must keep your contact details accurate and notify IQF promptly of any important changes.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, IQF is not responsible for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses
  • Loss caused by your failure to follow instructions, meet deadlines, maintain backups, or keep login details secure

  • Unauthorised use of your account where you failed to protect your login details
  • Third-party content, websites, services, or resources linked from the LMS

Where IQF is legally responsible for loss connected with the LMS, our liability will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law and, where relevant, to the fees you paid for the affected programme or service.

  • You engage in academic misconduct or unacceptable behaviour
  • You fail to pay required fees
  • Your enrolment ends, is suspended, or is cancelled
  • IQF reasonably needs to protect learners, staff, systems, data, partners, or academic integrity

Where appropriate, IQF may investigate suspected breaches and may ask you to provide information before taking final action.

19. Complaints and Support

If you need help with LMS access, course materials, live class links, or technical issues, please contact IQF through the official support channel provided to you or email info@iqf.education.

If you wish to make a complaint, you should raise it with IQF in the first instance using the official complaints process or by contacting info@iqf.education.

20. Changes to These Terms

IQF may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the LMS, programmes, legal requirements, partner requirements, academic policies, or operational needs.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last reviewed" date and, where appropriate, notify affected users. Continued use of the LMS after updated Terms are published means you accept the updated Terms.
